Summary: The space was great for a large family! The host was pretty good and kindly let us check out late. They also had things to use at the beach (chairs, goggles, life jackets, etc.). The casita was a great add!The downside is that one of the showers was leaking from the bathroom into the hallway. You also pass several homeless encampments on the way to this home, which made us feel a little less safe. Overall great stay away from downtown. Great beaches with sea turtles close.

Summary: Overall it is a pretty old property the curtain rod were all broken n bent the air conditioner didn’t seem to work in the upstairs room and living room and it wasn’t fixed during our stay The upstairs bathroom was all open right behind the bed with no doors or partition which made it difficult for us to let others use the toilet or bathroom The downstairs toilet definitely needs some kind of ventilation It is in the valley area so it was pretty quiet We didn’t get any housekeeping services in our 5 day stay with 12 people in the house We appreciate the host giving us early check in and a late check out It was also pretty safe place to stay with family Big living room with the kitchen having almost everything we needed But would surely like if the host had compensated for the air conditioning not working

Summary: Tyler was super responsive to our questions about the house and was willing to work with us on the final number of people that went on the trip. The house has plenty of space for folks to hangout together or find a quiet place for some alone time. Definitely a place to use as a base for day trips to the other parts of the island. Traffic to and from the house took a little extra time to plan around, but Tyler gave us a good heads up on what to expect.

Summary: Our goal was a perfect Hawaii vacation, that was outside the craziness of the hustle and bustle of the "tourist" traps of Hawaii and the house in Waianae was absolutely perfect. The house had plenty of space to spend time together, enjoy fabulous home cooked, local seafood and enjoy the beautiful scenery around us. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting to be part of the Hawaii experience, ease of driving to all the great spots, but be able to sit back and enjoy your vacation away.
